Astro Boy Ripped Us!

Astro Boy writers deviated from the original story and in that time ripped off elements of our Galaxy Kid characters. Does anyone remember Astro being powered by a blue orb or having buddies? They even ripped Battle Angel a little. Wow that movie had so much potential but these guys suck at story telling and dialogue. This is why PIXAR will be king for a long time to come! If I am wrong then forgive me.
